Douchebag of the Week

Forget Douchebag of the Week, this might get Douchebag of the Year.

Last summer Roxie came back from a trip to NYC and announced that she and Mr. WPV were engaged. Yay! They move in together, begin planning a wedding. Roxie is contemplating using robin's egg blue and chocolate brown as their colors.

A few months later, things start to change. Some of Mr. WPV's family drama began escalating and Roxie was getting concerned about him. He was dealing with some serious family stuff and she was totally supportive. They felt that the stress of wedding planning on top of all of this might be a bit to take on, so they planned to postpone the wedding.

This seemed like a good decision. In hindsight, it was an AWESOME decision.

Not long after postponing the wedding, Roxie began noticing that something was off with Mr. WPV. Beyond the family drama stuff, she began to wonder if he was keeping secrets from her. She wondered if maybe he was sneaking around.

You know what's coming next.

One day, while Mr. WPV was unavailable (showering I think?) his phone rang. Roxie (the fiance and domestic partner) answered it. Conversation went something like this:

Roxie: "Hello."
Girl's voice: "Hi! Can I talk to Mr. WPV?"
Roxie: "No, he's unavailable. Who's this?"
Hoe-bag: "Oh, this is (whatever her name is). I met him last night at (insert name of trashy bar). He gave me his number so I was calling to see what he was doing tonight. Who's this?"
Roxie: "His fiance."
Trash: "Oh. So...um....should I call back later?"

Ok, I dont know that the conversation went EXACTLY like that, but you get the point. Douche gave girl his number, despite being engaged. Hoe-bag learns he's engaged and continues trying to see him. Fiance learns about sitch and tells douche to take a hike. She confronts him, breaks it off and kicks him out. They are over.

Roxie later learns that douche and hoe-bag are still involved.

The good news is, she didnt marry the d-bag, nor did she lose a lot of cash on wedding planning. But that's a small silver lining in a heartbreak.
