So there's no one to see me consume what I can only describe as THE most ghetto dinner ever (saltines with butter and some apple-pomelo yogurt) while catching up on How I Met Your Mother episodes online. 

I have to watch HIMYM online because I dont get American TV in Singapore. Except for a couple of HBO channels and a couple of Discovery Channels and E!. But the programming is delayed, so I'm watching last season's Keeping Up With the Kardashians....so I'm all caught up on them.

And I have to watch HIMYM online at home, because I have to use my VPN so that the internet thinks I'm in America. Because in Singapore, on Singapore internet, you cant stream. Which means that for the most part, I am without ESPN360, Pandora, CBS.com, hulu and anything else streaming. Except YouTube.

So to celebrate my access to television, I poured myself a glass of wine. From a screw top bottle. That was S$15 on sale. (Regular price: S$25). 

And now I'm eating leftover Thanksgiving cookies that I smuggled back into Singapore from my trip to the US to visit the fam last week.

I'm VERY glad there's no one here to witness this progression of events. And judge me for it. To my face.

Do you ever forget? Happened to me

Sometimes I forget what day it is. Most of the time I can remember within a few seconds, but I frequently have to remind myself what day it is. I get involved in what I'm doing and just sorta..forget.

I rarely really know the date, but can usually tell you what day it is, within one or two. Last Friday, I knew it was Friday, but had NO CLUE what the date was. Actually pulled out my calendar to figure out what the date was.

Today, I kinda know what the date is. Probably didn't know it until 3pm or so, but kinda know it.

About an hour ago, I forgot what day it was. I was confused about what I was going to watch on TV tonight. Stopped to remember what day it is and was REALLY excited to remember it's Monday!

Leonard, Sheldon, Ted, Barney and the gang are here to play! Yay!

I love television

I watch a lot of TV. I do. I admit it.

A lot of it is bad TV. What?

Generally I maintain a pretty firm grip on reality. But sometimes I wish TV characters were real. For example, I want Leonard and Sheldon to be real and live next door to me. They would be so entertaining. Also, if Ted Moseby were a real person, I would totally want to date him.
